Got through my LGV test this week. Thank you every one at uk hgv for helping throught the training process. I failed my theory first time but got a free retest from Adam. Also special thanks to Abdul my instructor, very profesional. Special Tips before the test did come handy too. Love it!!

I was in need of a job asap and an eye was kept out for me and was given an earlier test date. Everything about the course was explained clearly and I was able to each out and speak to staff every time if I never understood something. Test were never bunched up together so it wasn’t to much to do at once and I passed all test first time.

Straight forward link given to training resources got into it immediately once confident and the 5 passes on mock were achieved theory booked and passed then on to my favourite part the practical really enjoyable and passed first time in hind site i would have broken up the sessions for the CPC as 35 hours in one week was intense but its done now thanks to all the team

It all started with a simple thought: I needed a change in my career, because I wasn’t happy where I was. After a few scrolls online, I came across UK HGV — and that small step became the beginning of a life-changing journey. The registration process was quick and smooth, and the learning material was clear, straightforward, and easy to navigate. Before long, I was stepping into the exciting world of lorry driving. On my first day of training, I was behind the wheel of a Cat C lorry, and by the end of the course, I was driving a C+E articulated lorry — something I never imagined I’d achieve so soon. I passed my reversing test on the first attempt, but unfortunately failed my driving test. At the time, I thought it was just down to nerves or not being ready. Later, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which suddenly explained the difficulties I had faced during training. But here’s the most important part: thanks to UK HGV, my confidence grew massively, my driving skills improved dramatically, and I learned that setbacks don’t define you — perseverance does. For me, completing this course was so much more than just an upgrade to my licence. It was a true life experience that gave me resilience, courage, and the motivation to keep pushing forward.
