Class 1 covers articulated lorries. Class 2 is for rigid lorries. C1 covers vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes. Tell us what you want to drive and which licence you have.
How much does HGV training cost?
The total depends on your current licence, completed tests, training hours and package. You can pay in full or ask about a UK HGV payment plan. Packages vary, so get a written quote with the full price, payment schedule and any separate charges.
Can I train around my shifts?
Tell your adviser which days you can attend. They can check suitable training dates. We will discuss the available dates and help you plan around work. The final schedule depends on the course and venue.
How long does the whole process take?
Practical lessons are only one stage. Your medical, provisional entitlement, theory preparation and test availability also affect the timeline. Ask for a realistic plan for your starting point.
What if English is not my first language?
Tell your adviser if you would like a clearer explanation of the course or booking steps. We will go through the steps in plain English and explain the language and support arrangements available before you book.
