Who handles your enquiry

Information you provide
The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number and email. The page you enquire from may also identify your course interest. If you choose to include route-finder answers, these explain your starting point, age group, goals, preferred payment option and area. We use this to respond to your request and discuss training arrangements. Do not submit medical information, identity documents or payment details.
How enquiries are processed
Vercel hosts this website and processes requests so it can work. Salesforce receives website enquiries for UK HGV to respond. If delivery is unavailable, the form shows an error and asks you to call. We do not treat an unsuccessful submission as a received enquiry.
AI assistant
If you use our AI chat when enabled, your questions and the recent conversation are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Do not enter medical information, identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information. We request that API responses are not stored as application conversation history; provider security retention may still apply. The chat stays in memory for this page visit and is not included in your Salesforce enquiry. You review and submit contact details separately using the enquiry form. Chat text and contact details are not sent to analytics.
Why we use the information
We respond to requests about a potential training contract and administer related enquiries. This form does not sign you up for unrelated marketing. Any separate marketing activity needs its own appropriate basis and choices.
Storage and your rights
Contact us for details of how long your enquiry or booking records are kept and to request deletion. Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer where applicable. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
External review content
Links to Trustpilot open its website, where its own privacy and cookie policies apply. If you allow optional content or choose to show the live rating, an official Trustpilot widget loads from Trustpilot. Its privacy and cookie policies then apply.
Cookies and optional measurement
If you allow optional measurement, we record website interactions and campaign information. When you submit an enquiry, available Google Analytics client and session identifiers can accompany it to help UK HGV understand which visits lead to enquiries. We do not send your name, contact details or form answers to Google Analytics as event parameters.
With your permission, on our live UK HGV domain we send Google Ads a SHA-256 hashed version of the email you submit after your enquiry is sent. Google can match it to signed-in accounts to measure advertising results. Hashing does not make the data anonymous. We do not use this for personalised advertising, send chat messages to Google, or save these hashes in browser storage. This matching is disabled on our Vercel review site.
On our live website, Meta Pixel measures page visits and submitted enquiries with your permission. It uses browser identifiers and event references to help measure advertising. We do not include contact details or chat messages in these Meta events. Google measurement uses our existing server-side tracking address, d.uk-hgv.co.uk.
