Qualified drivers normally need 35 hours of periodic training every five years. Your circumstances, training route and where you drive can affect the rules.
What is the difference between National and International CPC?
National Driver CPC is for driving professionally in the UK. International Driver CPC is needed for driving professionally in the UK and Europe. Check the mix of courses before booking.
Can I take any 35-hour course?
Choose training that matches your existing qualification and where you intend to drive. Rules differ for new drivers, returning drivers and Northern Ireland. Ask before booking.
Can I train around my shifts?
Tell your adviser which days you can attend. They can check suitable training dates. We will discuss the available dates and help you plan around work. The final schedule depends on the course and venue.
How long does the whole process take?
Practical lessons are only one stage. Your medical, provisional entitlement, theory preparation and test availability also affect the timeline. Ask for a realistic plan for your starting point.
What if English is not my first language?
